The growing trend in aquatic therapy has created a tremendous growth of health centers utilizing saunas, whirlpool baths and indoor pools. These high-moisture environments require dehumidification to control humidity for patient comfort and to protect the
enclosure from the corrosive effects of condensation. PoolPak Technologies Corporation's PoolComPak Environmental Control System controls humidity while maintaining desired air and water temperatures. The PoolComPak unit goes beyond dehumidification
by recycling energy, saving thousands of dollars on heating costs.
Experience shows that warm water therapy-type pools require a consistently higher water temperature for user comfort. Space temperatures are typically held around 90° with pool water temperatures slightly less. As the water temperature increases from an
average of 83°, the rate of humidity increases. The higher humidity makes breathing more difficult resulting in occupant discomfort.
The design of the PoolComPak is such that it automatically monitors water temperature as well as the air temperature and humidity, both inside and out. The sensitive TD-3000 controller automatically maintains a water temperature of 89° and an air temperature
of 91° with a relative humidity level of 60% for easy breathing.
PoolPak Technologies Corporation designed the PoolComPak to be easily hidden from view. All intake and return air can be ducted in the same manner as a heating system, providing you with uniform air flow over walls and glazed areas.
