How Our Units Work

The PoolPak dehumidification systems effectively remove unwanted moisture within a pool facility using heat pump technology. It recycles the heat recovered during the dehumidification process using it to heat the enclosure space and pool water, resulting in dramatically lower energy costs. PoolPaks use solid state microprocessor controls and sensors to continually monitor water and air conditions. They deliver warm, dry air for total comfort and protection against the corrosive effects of the chlorine-laden moisture.

Saves 40% to 60% Over Conventional Outside Air Dilution Systems

The PoolPak dehumidification systems save money on energy to heat the pool water and air. It returns five units of heat to the natatorium for every unit consumed. Average recorded savings range from 40% to 60% over conventional outside air dilution systems. A PoolPak will typical pay for itself within 3 to 5 years from unit startup.

Provides Superior Occupant Comfort

PoolPaks use solid state microprocessor technology and sensors to continually monitor water and air conditions, delivering warm, dry air. Unlike outside air ventilation methods, the walls and windows are blanketed with warm dry air, preventing the formation of condensate and delivering dependable comfort for swimmers and spectators alike.

Eliminates Corrosion and Structural Damage

A PoolPak system prevents condensation that can lead to costly repairs to both the structure as well as interior furnishings. Chlorine-laden moisture will rust and blister paint in steel roof trusses, as well as cause deterioration of structural members through percolation of concrete and subsequent damage to steel reinforcement.

Dependable Operation

Design professionals have selected PoolPak four to one over all other dehumidification systems for installation in award-winning athletic facilities nationwide. The reason most often given is they work. PoolPak systems are designed specifically for the harsh environment of an indoor pool enclosure, delivering peak satisfaction and low maintenance year after year.

Flexible Design

A PoolPak system does a great deal more than just dehumidify. It can be mounted inside or out, offers economizer or Smart Economizer operation, flywheel air conditioning, optional air conditioning, remote monitoring and control.

Customer Service

You will breathe easier knowing the highly trained factory service technicians at PoolPak Technologies Corporation stand ready to support your facility maintenance staff. Only PoolPak Technologies Corporation offers AutoGuard Service to monitor your PoolPak unit from the factory for optimum performance.

Worldwide Control

The unparalleled Electronic Control Center (ECCIII) microprocessor control system, designed specifically for the PoolPak, permits you to monitor and control your pool facility from anywhere accessible through a standard modem. The ECCIII gives pool managers quick analysis of pool information and faster processing of critical pool conditions. The solid state modular technology also incorporates the new dew point control strategy, facilitating better control of multiple PoolPak units.

Construction

PoolPak Technologies Corporation builds the PoolPak unit to withstand the harsh chlorine environment of an indoor pool. All PoolPak units are built using copper construction in critical areas, and vital components such as the compressor and pool water condenser are located out of the air stream for dependable performance. The insulated cabinet is constructed of heavy-gauge channeled steel with a corrosion-resistant epoxy finish for longer life.
